"For the 30 years I have been breeding Arabs
I always had an image in mind of exactly the animal I wanted to produce. I am very close to achieving my ambition
with Black Bindaree. She has the type and character of her mother, grandmother and great grandmother Narrisa,
my foundation mare. She has the height and elegance of her grandsire Fahim Hisan, who I exported to the UAE in
1990. She has the kind temperament, sound conformation and straight paces of her sire Al Sood."

Black Arabians
The stud was originally founded at Crosthwaite, near Kendal in Cumbria, England by Fiona
Walling, with two Arabian mares of English breeding.
NARRISA (Naidarus / Risnab) and
ROYAL GAYZA (Harwood Asif / Silver). The first black stallion MISTA BEAUJANGLES (Hallany's Mesaoud / Kapri Nah) was imported from Canada in 1980. His lines were Egyptian
/ English and he has proved to be a very important sire, particularly of endurance horses. He produced, among numerous
other successful horses, CUMBRIA
ZA, 1997 British National Champion
endurance horse, now competing in the United Arab Emirates, and CUMBRIA TANGO

The second black stallion, FAHIM HISAN (Bahim Hisan/Nagiba), bred at Gleannloch Farms, USA,
was straight Egyptian and was imported in 1985 to use on Beaujangles' daughters. He was more successful in breeding
black and sired amongst others DAHISAN, 1997 Scottish Champion endurance horse. Such was the demand for Fahim Hisan's
breeding he was sold to the United Arab Emirates where he is proving to be an excellent sire of racehorses,in particular. |

The stallion being used at present, AL SOOD, was purchased
as a foal from Meranti Arabian Stud in 1990. He is proving to be enormously successful in breeding black, typey
foals with good presence and temperament.
Foals are usually available for sale by AL SOOD out of the following brood mares:
MIDNIGHT GRACE - (Mista Beaujangles/Rexifa)
SA BELLE RHAPSODY - (Mista Beaujangles/Daughter of Sahri)
BLACK ENCHANTRESS - (Mista Beaujangles/Black Pearl)
